When I started working on Wear Wellow, the goal was clear: create a Shopify store that wasn't just another template-based website, but something truly unique that reflected the brand's identity. I built this store from scratch on Shopify 2.0, which gave me the flexibility to create custom sections and templates that perfectly matched what the business needed.

My Approach: I leveraged Shopify 2.0's section-everywhere functionality to create reusable, dynamic content blocks. This meant the merchant could easily customize page layouts through the theme editor. I built custom Liquid templates for collections and product pages, ensuring every interaction felt smooth and intentional.

For performance, I implemented lazy loading for images, deferred non-critical JavaScript, and optimized CSS delivery. I also used Shopify's native image CDN effectively, serving properly sized images based on the device. The result? Lightning-fast page loads that improved both user experience and SEO rankings.

Mobile-First Development: Knowing that most shoppers browse on mobile devices, I designed and developed the entire experience with mobile users in mind first, then enhanced it for larger screens. Touch-friendly buttons, swipeable galleries, and optimized checkout flow made mobile shopping a breeze.

The Result: A beautiful, fast, and conversion-optimized Shopify store that the client can easily manage and customize without developer intervention. The store sees excellent performance scores and provides customers with a seamless shopping experience.
